The Pranic Healing Foundation (PHF) is a Non-profit Charitable institution (registered under the provisions of The Registration of Associations Act – Regd No. 8615). It has been established to promote and spread GMCKS Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga in Mauritius, and also to support & empower people towards greater peace, greater love, holistic health and spirituality.
The Pranic Healing Foundation is affiliated with the World Pranic Healing Foundation, Inc. and the Institute for Inner Studies.
There are several Pranic Healing & Arhatic Yoga Centres that are spread around the country and operate under the license of Pranic Healing Foundation Mauritius.
The main activities of the foundation include:
- offer Pranic Healing treatments
- promoting and conducting Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga courses
- conducting weekly Meditation sessions
Background
In year 1997, Mrs Sangeeta and Mr Vijay Raghavan started their mission in Mauritius to help and guide people towards a fuller, richer life, through Energy Healing, Spiritual development and meditation, and community service through awareness programs on spirituality and right livelihood. In 2005, in view expanding the activities in the field of Natural Healing and Holistic Health, and offering other healing modalities, an association, Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga was introduced and the Pranic Healing Foundation was subsequently established to spread Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga in Mauritius.
Mr Vijay & Mrs Sangeeta have been practicing higher levels of Arhatic Yoga, and are licensed to teach the following courses: Basic Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic Healing, Pranic Psychotherapy, Achieving Oneness with the Higher Soul , Pranic Psychic Self Defense, Pranic Crystal Healing and Spiritual Business Management. There are 7 licensed Pranic Healing Instructors operating under their guidance.
The Management Committee
The Foundation is a volunteer-based organisation. An Executive committee comprised up of The President, The Vice President, The Secretary, The Assistant Secretary, The Treasurer and The Assistant Treasurer oversees the entire functioning of the Foundation. All major decisions are taken at the Executive Committee level and the Committee ratifies all other operational decisions at General meetings. There are several sub-committees created from to manage & handle different project to spread the work.
An Annual General meeting is also held before the end of March of each year. An independent Auditor audits the Accounts of the Association and a report on the state of the financial affairs is available.
